Provides support and assistant to an administrative head of a diversified multi-program of a community service and senior center
Plan, research, develop and coordinate with government agencies, community-based organization schools, churches, and group leaders to help extend resources to provide center support with the delivery of programs and services
Conduct surveys to enhance existing programs to determine community needs
Collaborate and network with government agencies to ensure linkage with housing assistance, health education, counseling, wellness, disaster preparedness and mental health services
Coordinate and participate in meetings and scheduling of facility use with public and private agencies and facilitate the success of monitoring contracts program housed within the centers
Responsible for preparing purchasing commodities for the 1st and 2nd district
Act as a liaison to other centers with procurement issues
Conduct comparison of vendor products availability, pricing, and budget
Identify and utilize a wide range of monetary resources within the community to enhance center activities and events
Coordinates and oversees employment training programs such as Title V Senior Community Services Employment Program (SCSEP) and Youth Transitional Subsidize Employment (TSE).
Prepare a variety of reports
Experience with Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Swipe.
