Accomplishments

  • Playing an integral role during an onsite emergency, going above and beyond regular duties to ensure the safety of all personnel. Proactively activated Code1 emergency operations during a fire in the mine and achieved safe evacuation of personnel and timely response by emergency services which in turn protected capital assets.
  • Creatively stepping outside the box to ensure a lost personal item was returned to its owner. Organizing the safe return of the personal item without increasing company cost, by arranging the transport of the item throughout the current routes and driver(s) with clear and concise directions and communication.
  • Effectively became a subject matter expert in dispatching specialized or complex equipment such as underground haul trucks, development loaders, diamond drills, emulsion loaders, ANFO loaders, explosive loaders, kimberlite, rocky ore, waste rock, and more.
