An individual who is careful, meticulous, hard working, cooperative, and eager to learn. I make a point to excel in everything that I do and if there is something that I cannot achieve, I use all my resources relentlessly to obtain that goal. I choose to take on the harder tasks that most people would rather not take and put myself up to the challenge to become a better person than who I was before. Ever learning and continually evolving into a person that people aspire to grow up to be. I am hands on first and foremost, choosing to deal with my problems/tasks by myself before asking for help. I am goal oriented and choose to knock out tasks one after the other in order to be assured that each task is completed to the best my ability.
I am in charge of repairing customer tools as well as wholesale distributor tools from around the country. These tools range from Impact drivers and hand blowers to assembly line tools used in the car manufacturing factories in order to get desired torque specifications. I also respond to customer questions and diagnosing issues with tools that are having issues via emails.
I am also in charge of receiving packages of the warehouses on a daily basis and ensuring that quality is met when tools are shipped out.
When repairing tools, I often dabble in PCB soldering and programming, Stator testing, wiring replacement and stress testing to ensure that the tools go out better than they came in. I also go out to inform customer in how to use our program if they are not familiar and also helping customer switch over to using our brand of tools versus competitor brands.
I was the only certified repairman in the country for rivet guns for customers such as Tesla, Nasa and car manufacturing assembly line companies. The rivet gun brands vary from Rivet King, Avdel, Atlus, Proset, and Pop Stanley. I was also responsible for training new users, installation and repairing of Haeger Press machine units all throughout Southern California and near regions for Haeger and Pemserter brand. When not working on tools, I would help around the warehouse and help fulfill orders for fasteners. If needed, we would prepare certifications for customers that needed exact information such as the military, Nasa and SpaceX.
I would also go out and retrieve pallets from other warehouses in order for us to fulfill the orders of the week and also deliver nearby orders.
I was a sales floor associate during my time at the Home Depot. During my time, I managed a couple of departments such as Electrical, Plumbing, Garden, and the Tool Rental Department. I would maintain products on shelf while making sure that the department ran as smooth as possible by answering questions, moving product to where it was needed and coordinating with my managers to effectively strategize product that was vs wasn't selling.
As a Repair and Tool Technicians i was responsible for the evaluation and repair of small engines, outdoor power equipment and handheld electrical devices. This position makes equipment recommendations and ensures that units are maintained. Technicians work in both our stores with Tool Rental Centers and in our repair centers. In a store, technicians would be expected to provide service to store customers in Tool Rental which includes writing customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs, checking to make sure tool is operating properly and demonstrating its proper use (as needed). In addition to supporting customer repair needs, we were also responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of equipment in the tool rental department. Technicians must have a thorough knowledge of all tools and must effectively manage the tool inventory by maintaining the tools and repairing them as necessary.
