Summary

I am looking for the opportunity to further my career as a Drilling fluid specialist. I am currently working on a 1500hp triple rig doing Montney wells for Tourmaline Oil Corporation in northern British Colombia. I have 7½ years of experience running mud and a total of 17 years experience in the oil and gas industry from floor hand to driller then fluid specialist. Over my career, I have worked on diverse spectrum of well types and drilling fluids. Ranging from HTHP Wild Cat well in Northern B.C., SagD projects in Fort McMurray and Conklin, Ab. Some horizontal shale gas plays in the Grande Prairie, Ab. area and high pressure critical sour near Hudson Hope, Ab. I had the pleasure to work on a variety of triple drilling rigs up to 3000HP gaining experience with various mud systems including; Polymer, Gel-Chem, brines, heavy brines, silicate, amine and multiple oil based mud types. I am an excellent learner, my work ethic is impeccable and my focus over the years has been to constantly improve myself in all aspects of my profession, as a result, I have cultivated excellent leadership management and teaching skills with my focus being on safety and efficiency. Familiar with computerized monitoring systems. No loss time accidents (LTA) and perfect safety records with companies including, Tourmaline, ConocoPhillips, Suncor, Shell, Nexen, Devon and CNRL. Quick learner and looking to travel and further my knowledge and skills through training programs.
