Engineering Design I | Teddy Bear Wheelchair
- Helped design and develop a long-term project that is a robotic car capable of launching a projectile to a certain distance and moving according to inputted controls
- Took lead in final design of car and developed an analytical system to produce a high output for the projectile
- Using courses and materials throughout Mechanical Engineering degree to further develop and understand the project.
Engineering Design II | Kinder Surprise Toy
- Helped Contribute to design and development of kinder surprise toy that can be recreated and built by children whilst also having a built in function of storing potential energy
- Helped create model for design using Solidworks
- Calculated and analyzed system to store enough potential energy once built to satisfy requirements
Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing | RC Car Design
- Built detailed RC car from scratch using Solidworks tools and programs
- Included is a complete assembly containing gearbox, front and rear axles, differentials, wheels and body
- Sourced accurate parts needed for assembly, such as chains, gears, sprockets, and bearings, from reliable websites such as McMaster-Carr and Vexpro
Capstone Project | Drowsy Driving Detection Device
- Created a portable retrofitted drowsy driving detection device that can be placed in majority of cars to aid with fatigued driving
- Scheduled meetings with advisor and team members to help progress project across semester
- Took charge of creating casing and design to be integrated onto the car's dashboard
- Heavily researched alongside team members to best implement the versatility and accuracy of the device
