The Indigenous Pre-Cadet Training Program includes a three-week training session at the RCMP Training Academy (Depot) in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Candidates will learn:

• How to work as part of a policing team
• An introduction to the Criminal Code and RCMP policy
• Physical fitness and drill
• Skills to help prepare you to apply to be a police officer

• Coordinated youth programs promoting cultural awareness and community engagement.
• Facilitated workshops enhancing personal development and social skills among participants.
• Collaborated with community organizations to expand program outreach and resources.
• Oversaw daily logistics such as scheduling, supplies management, and room set-up to ensure smooth program operation.

• Adapted lesson plans to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.
• Implemented classroom management strategies to maintain a productive learning environment.
• Monitored student progress and provided feedback to enhance understanding of subjects.
• Engaged students through interactive discussions, promoting participation and critical thinking skills.
